The 2nd Annual Make Music Day is one week away!

The second annual Make Music Day Alabama is just one week away! The event was originally scheduled for June 20, but was rescheduled to August 22, 2017 due to rain.

The time and place are the same though: 6 p.m. at the Gay Street Municipal Parking Lot in downtown Auburn is where everyone will gather. The rain may have been a  blessing in disguise though. The World Record for Largest "Rock & Roll Band" is at 953 set by China a week before last year's Make Music Day that saw over 850 gather in downtown Auburn. This year 1,400 are already registered to take part!

This year's song will be Sister Hazel’s ‘All for You’! According to Tim Spicer of Spicer's Music, Sister Hazel’s Ken Block and Drew Copeland are coming to perform with with the rest off the Auburn for make Music Day! Spicer’s Music invites everyone from professional musicians to amateurs to join them for the Make Music Day Alabama event on August 22. Registration is free and open to all musicians. Anyone interested can register at www.spicersmusic.com to be a part of the band.
