On Monday, March 16, 2020, the Auburn Police Division announced the promotion of Tyrone Guice, Jude Hackett and Jameson Presley to the position of Captain.
Captain Guice is a veteran law enforcement officer with over 24 years of experience. He has held a number of positions within the Police Division to include Patrol Sergeant, Patrol Lieutenant, Administrative Lieutenant, and Narcotics Lieutenant. Captain Guice is currently furthering his education in Criminal Justice at Faulkner University.
Captain Hackett has over 16 years of law enforcement experience and has held a number of positions within the Police Division to include Patrol Officer, Detective, Detective Sergeant, and Lieutenant. He is a graduate of Troy University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business.
Captain Presley has over 24 years of law enforcement experience and has held a number of positions within the Police Division to include jailer, patrolman, patrol sergeant, detective sergeant and administrative lieutenant. Captain Presley is a graduate of Auburn University with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice.
These officers have proven to be effective leaders and are assets to the Auburn Police Division.
