Our pet of the week this week is Stella!
Stella is a very interesting kitty. She doesn't seem to enjoy the company of other animals that much and is generally a very independent kitty. We tried to release her to our feral colony outdoors, but she decided she wanted to stick around and became our office cat! It's clear Stella wants a forever home indoors, but she definitely will prefer love and attention on her own terms. She will absolutely rub up against your legs or come up to you for treats and pets every now and then and will be the first to find the comfiest spot in the house! Stella's ideal home is one where she can be herself, with little expectations put on her - she's the purrfect companion for someone who needs a friend to come home to, but isn't trying to snuggle and cuddle all the time!
Stella's adoption fee is only $15! Come by the Lee County Humane Society to meet her sometime this week!
