Tickets are now available for the inaugural Auburn Food and Wine Festival benefitting the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Lee County on Saturday, June 22. The festival will take place at Twenty-One Acres, located on Wire Road in Auburn, from 5 – 9 p.m.

“Guests will have the opportunity to try around 150 wines from all corners of the globe,” said Josh Nagel, the festival’s co-chair and sommelier. “This can be an opportunity to try something that you otherwise would never just go out and get on your own. We’ve added local breweries and mixologists to the list of options too, so I think we’ve got just about everything covered.”

The Auburn Food & Wine Festival will feature 150 different wines, food from 20 restaurants and a selection of beer and spirits. Numerous local restaurants will be present at the festival, including Bow & Arrow, Acre, Lucy's, Amsterdam Cafe, The Hound, The Depot and more. The event will also include live music featuring performances by Graham Harper and Ben Sutton Band.

In addition to Nagel, well-known chef and caterer Christine Healey of Christine’s Unlimited is the other co-chair for the festival.

“Growing up in a food and beverage family and attending many festivals and wine events, I wanted to share my experience of food and wine with the Auburn community and surrounding areas,” said Healey. “I also wanted to give back.”

The Auburn Food & Wine Festival’s mission is to connect the community through food, wine and fellowship in hopes to raise awareness, funds and encourage the campaign of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Lee County and their efforts.

Twenty-One Acres is an outdoor event venue featuring a large, open pavilion, pool and field. The event will have large, walk-through tents to host vendors and guests. While parking will be available, guests are encouraged to utilize Lyft and Uber.

General admission tickets include all samples of food and wine and cost $105. Food-only tickets are also available for $55. Tickets can be purchased athttps://www.auburnfoodandwinefestival.com.
