UPDATE: NASCAR driver Ryan Newman's outdoor therapy after Daytona 500 crash

Hard to believe is has been less than two weeks since NASCAR driver Ryan Newman's Roush Fenway Ford Mustang went air born and landed in a fiery crash in the last-lap wreck at Daytona International Speedway..

Ryan was released from Halifax medical just 3 days later having suffered an undisclosed head injury and is recovering at home.

He posted a picture on Tuesday and said "Got a little therapy in yesterday. #outdoors #catchandrelease"

He plans to return to Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series racing at some point this season. Ross Chastain debuted in the No. 6 Ford Mustang this past Sunday and is expected to fill Newman’s seat until further notice.
