On November 25, 2017, Auburn Police arrested Jason Jarell Still, age 31 from Union Springs, AL on warrants charging him with B&E Auto, two (2) counts of Theft of Property 2nd Degree, two (2) counts of Theft of Property 3rd Degree, Fleeing and Attempting to Elude a Law Enforcement Officer, Criminal Mischief 3rd Degree, and Escape 3rd Degree.
On November 25, 2017, while on routine patrol an Auburn Police Officer observed a male walking in the area of Mitcham Ave. carrying a backpack and a woman’s purse. The male observed the officer and then hid behind a vehicle in the area. As officers approached he fled on foot and was taken into custody. The male was identified as Jason Jarell Still and property stolen from vehicles in the area were recovered. After being transported to the Auburn Police Division, and while awaiting an Investigator, Still broke a window in an interview room and escaped the building. Officers pursued Still on foot and took him into custody a short time later.
He was transported to the Lee County Jail where he was given an $18,000 bond.
