A-list of A-Day events for Tomorrow & Saturday

Friday, April 6th


Morning- The Auburn University Landscape and Nursery Association will have their annual A-Day plant sale. This will run 7am - 6pm CST and will be the perfect time to get plants for your yard or property. Cash, checks, and credit cards are accepted. Proceeds will go to funding the club's participation in the National Collegiate Landscape Competition held in North Carolina

2:30pm - Alpha Tau Omega with the Lutzie 43 Foundation will host their Men's Flag football and Powderpuff Flag football games in the indoor football practice facility on campus. The games will start promptly at 3pm and registration is required. CLICK HERE for more on these events!

5pm - The Tiger Trail induction ceremony will take place at the Auburn Arena. The newest members to be inducted are  DeWanna Bonner (2005-2009) women’s basketball, Kim Evans (1994-2015) women’s golf head coach, Freddie Smith (1976-1979) football,  Jerry Smith (1962-1964) men’s track and field, Ben Tamburello (1983-86) football, and Susan Nunnelly who has been involved with Auburn Athletics since 1973.

The event is open to the public but tickets are required. Call the Auburn Chamber at 334-887-7011 to purchase tickets for $25 each. The ceremony will begin at 6pm.

5pm -  The Southeastern Raptor Center will host it's educational program "Wing Fling". The program will feature owls, hawks, falcons, eagles, and vultures but will be a non-flight event. Admission is $5 with no charge for children under 3 years old. The center is located at 1350 Pratt-Carden Drive.

6pm - Gates open for "Country Rocks the Plains". The FREE concert is being put on by the Hudson Family Foundation and will feature the Brothers Osborne live on the Green Spacer next Jordan-Hare Stadium. CLICK HERE for more information on the Concert!

Saturday, April 7th


(Happening Friday night and throughout the day on Saturday will be live music at Piccolo inside the Hotel at Auburn University and Dixon Conference Center. Starting Staurday morning up until kickoff, Dan & Richard will be making their famous Bloody Mary's at the Hotel)

8am - The Tri Delta Lutzie 5K starts the day full of activities. We have included more on the event in the link above about the Flag football tournament.

8am - A World Health Day event will be hosted by the AU School of Nursing on the green space next to the nursing building. The event will have snakc but also provide on info on healthy living for all ages.

10am - The Punt, Pass, Kick contest will take place on the football practice field. Admission is free and is open to children bewteen 1st and 6th grades.

Noon - Tiger Fan Fest opens on the Nichols Lawn. The free event will have inflatables for the kids, a live DJ playing music, and free giveaways.

1pm - Gates open and Jordan-Hare Stadium

2pm -  Fans welcome the Tigers as they do Tiger Walk on Donahue Drive

3pm - The A-Day game kicks off at Jordan-Hare Stadium. Tickets are $5 dollars for the general public and can be purchased at auburntigers.com or the box offices at Auburn Arena and Jordan-Hare before the game.

Following the game, Gus Malzahn and the rest of the Auburn Tigers will be signing autographs at Jordan-Hare Stadium
