Go ahead and cry …A new study has found that crying helps with coping and recovery skills during times of stress. So if you’re stressed, don’t hold back the tears. They’ll help you deal with it. (Bustle)

Thank your teachers …A new survey by Staples found that 77% of respondents said they had a favorite teacher, but almost one-third said they never thanked this teacher and wish they did.

So how much do teachers affect their students?A lot. According to the survey 83% said a favorite teacher had made a meaningful impact on their life and 50% said a fav teacher had given them life advice. 49% said their teachers had an impact on their personal values and morals, 43% said a favorite teacher had an impact on their career choice and 39% said their teachers played a role in their level of higher education. 25% of survey respondents said teachers even impacted how they raised their own children. So what subject do America’s “favorite” teachers teach? English. 43% of those polled said and English teacher was their favorite teacher. Here are the Top 5 Favorite Teachers:

1. English -- 43%

2. Math -- 38%

3. Science -- 35%

4. History -- 25%

Dating has changed …According to a new study from Stanford University, more couples meet online these days than they do through friends and family members. Researchers found a whopping 70% of couples are now meeting each other online. That’s a huge jump from the early 2000s, when only 20% percent were hooking up on dating sites. (9 to 5 Mac)

YouTube dreams …A new survey has found that American kids mostly want to be video bloggers -- or “YouTubers” -- when they grow up. Yep, 29% of the kids polled said they wanted to be a Vlogger/YouTuber when they grow up. The other top professions named by kids included teacher (26%), pro athlete (23%) and musician (19%) Surprisingly, astronaut (11%) was all the way down at number five on the list. (ArsTechnica)
