SEC Media Days: Auburn/Alabama Players attending

SEC Media days will take place next week (July 10th - July 13th) in Hoover, Alabama

Alabama Crimson Tide

Head Coach Nick Saban will be the first coach to speak on Wednesday, the players attending will be:

Bradley Bozeman, Sr., OL - Bradley is Senior from Roanoke, Alabama and will help anchor the all important offensive line that will allow time for Jalen Hurts to make plays and the running backs to supply the power run game.

Minkah Fitzpatrick, Jr., DB - Minkah is entering his Junior year for the Tide and looks to be a reliable play maker in the secondary after losing a good bit of experience from last year. Fitzpatrick has 111 total tackles, 8 interceptions and 5 touchdowns for the Tide.

Calvin Ridley, Jr., WR - Calvin Ridley is an experienced receiver who makes big plays and will be someone Jalen Hurts can rely on as he is forced to pass more this year. In two years Calvin has 1.814 receiving yards and 15 total touchdowns.

Auburn Tigers

Head Coach Gus Malzahn will be the first coach at the Podium for the final day, Thursday

Daniel Carlson, Sr., K- Daniel Carlson has been a Special Teams weapon that has won Auburn more than a few games. Carlson may be the best Kicker in the country which provides many different options for Auburn's offense when it comes to field position and game planning.

Tray Matthews, Sr., DB- Tray tipped the ball to Ricardo Louis during the 2013 Prayer at Jordan-Hare as a Freshman before transferring from Georgia to Auburn. He is the quarterback of the defense and is not short on making plays with 121 tackles and 3 interceptions while at Auburn.

Braden Smith, Sr., OL- Braden Smith was a highly touted recruit out of Kansas who has been very reliable on Auburn's offensive line. There have been a few rotating pieces along the line with Smith supplying a lot of returning experience to help Jarrett Stidham and the run game do as they please.

South Carolina

South Carolina will be the last team to speak on Thursday

Jake Bentley, Soph, QB- In the fall of 2015 Jake was leading the Opelika bulldogs through the playoffs and in the fall of 2016 he was leading the South Carolina Gamecocks in the SEC. After forgoing his Senior year of High School, Jake took over halfway through the season and played in a total of 7 games ending with 1,420 passing yards and 9 touchdowns. Bentley is expected to start this Fall.
