Press Release: Auburn Police Division
This past weekend, August, 12th& 13th , the Auburn Police Division received reports of someone unlawfully forcing entry into several motor vehicles parked at local businesses in the vicinity of Interstate 85 along exits 57 (Bent Creek Road) & 51 (S. College Street).
Video surveillance captured images of what appears to be a white or light colored Chrysler 300. The suspect appears to be a black male in his mid to late 20s, approximately 5’-10” and weighing about 180-200 lbs. The suspect(s) stole assorted wallets and purses containing cash and credit cards.
Auburn Police is asking that anyone that recognizes the suspect and/or vehicle to call detectives at 334-501-3140 or the 24 hour non-emergency number 334-501-3100. Callers may also provide information on the case anonymously on the tip line 334-246-1391.
