Auburn PD warns of suspicious activity on Heywood Street

On September 20, 2017, the Auburn Police Division responded to a  suspicious incident on Heywood Street in Auburn.  A teen aged female  reported that on September 20, at approximately 4pm she and two male  juveniles were walking when an older white male, 50-60 years of age,  heavy set, wearing a white t-shirt, with thin or balding hair and  driving a black in color 4 door vehicle, stopped in the roadway.  She  then reports that the male asked her if she needed a ride.  According to  the female she declined and the vehicle then left the area.   


The  Police Division is investigating the incident and no other incidents of  this nature have been reported at this time.  Anyone with information  is asked to call detectives at 334-501-3140 or the 24 hour non-emergency  number 334-501-3100.  Callers may also provide information anonymously  on the tip line 334-246-1391.
