Seven Suspects from Montgomery Arrested

The Auburn Police Division has arrested seven suspects from Montgomery: Ledarius Marquez Cox (18), Cortez Javarre'a McKinney-Scott (18), Shaquille De'Anthony Hill (19), Si'Keris Kendrecious Miles (18), Sirjames Edward Raby (21), and Te'Jerrian Arnell Williams (19). All have been arrested fro three counts of theft of property first degree. Hill was additionally charged with possession of controlled substance (ecstasy). A 17-year-old juvenile from Pike Road, Alabama was also charged with three counts of theft of property first degree and possession of a pistol without permit. 

These arrests happened after a call of seven males attempting to open multiple vehicles at an apartment complex in the 100 block of East University Drive on July 20th at 2:40 AM. Auburn Police officers responded and contacted two vehicles leaving the parking lot. Seven males occupying two vehicles were contacted. The driver of a 2010 grey Honda Civic fled on foot but later captured. The car was determined to have been stolen just prior. A 2013 Kawasaki Ninja and a 2004 silver Honda Civic were also recovered in close range and determined to have been stolen. Several firearms, including one from the juvenile driver that fled on foot, as well as currency, electronics, credit cards, and other miscellaneous items were recovered and linked to numerous vehicles that were rummaged through in the 2000 block of South College and the 100 block of East University Drive. 

Cox, Scott, Miles, Raby, and Williams are currently being held on a $15,000 bond. Hill is being held on a $16,500 bond and the 17-year-old was transferred to the Lee County Youth Detention Facility. Additional charges are pending.
