Boys & Girls Clubs are a Good Investment

A study, conducted by the Institute for Social Research and the School of Public Health at the University of Michigan, found that every dollar invested in Boys & Girls Clubs returns $9.60 in current and future earnings, as well as cost-savings, to American communities. The biggest benefits are from Club members’ improved grades and reduced alcohol use and their parents’ earnings. Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Lee County spends $550,000 annually on operating costs, resulting in $5,280,000 in lifetime benefits to youth, families and society.

Your donations to the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Lee County provide avenues for our young people to participate in character building activities with their peers. By donating, you afford a vast array of involvement opportunities to our youth as well as our staff. We are so grateful for your support!
