AUBURN, Ala- On June 1, 2019, Auburn Police arrested Jacoreyious Tyreck Walker, age 18, from Notasulga, on warrants charging him with four counts of B&E auto, theft of property first degree, two counts of theft of property third degree, theft of property fourth degree and possession of marijuana second degree.
After several vehicles had been broken into in the Longleaf Drive and Wire Road areas of Auburn, officers performed a traffic stop on a suspicious vehicle and located evidence from past and present thefts within the vehicle. Walker, the driver of the vehicle, was taken into custody. Additionally, a search of his residence resulted in the location of several firearms, one of which was stolen the night of May 30.
Walker was later transported to the Lee County Jail where he was being held on a $22,000 bond. At the time of this latest arrest, Walker was out on bond from a charge of sexual assault in Tallapoosa County. Additional charges, as well as a possible bond revocation, are anticipated. This case remains under investigation by the Auburn Police Division.
