2nd Annual Opelika Songwriters Festival set for March 27th-29th

SONGWRITERS TO ENTERTAIN THOUSANDS AT THE 2NDANNUAL OPELIKA SONGWRITERS FESTIVAL

Auburn-Opelika, Ala.—The Opelika Songwriters Festival will take place March 27-29 at multiple venues throughout historic downtown Opelika. This will be the festival’s second year. The festival boasts live performances to showcase the musical talent of local, regional and national songwriters.

New this year, the festival will take place at Resting Pulse Brewing Company, Ampersand Wine, The Bottling Plant Event Center, Chirpwood Art Gallery, John Emerald Distillery, Sneak and Dawdle, Irish Bred Pub, Eighth and Rail, Ma Fia’s Ristorante and the Sound Wall. Guests will be able to enjoy drinks at all venues and some will offer food as well. The Opelika Songwriters Festival was founded by Ron and Jen Slocumb, members of local band Martha’s Trouble and owners of The Sound Wall in Opelika. The festival is a co-production of the Sound Wall and Russell Carter Artist Management (RCAM). RCAM has co-produced the 30A Songwriters Festival in Northwest Florida for the past 11 years.

3-Day General Admission tickets to the Opelika Songwriters Festival are $125 and give guests access to every venue throughout the weekend. VIP tickets are $225 and include a special In the Round concert and Sunday VIP Brunch. Tickets will be presented in the form of wristbands that guests can pick up at the festival box office located at100 S 8th Streetin Opelika.Tickets can be purchasedhere.

Guests should be advised that coolers and lawn chairs are not permitted at the festival. In addition, festival wristbands arenon-transferable, non-exchangeable and cannot be replaced.
