Former Auburn Coach Patrick Fain “Pat” Dye died Monday morning at the Compassus Bethany House in Auburn at 11:48 AM. He died of natural causes from complications of renal and hepatic failure. Dye was 80 years old. Burial arrangements are still being planned at this time. No other details are available at this time.
