Hailey Whittersjust dropped a bop did ya hear,” the Iowa-born country artist captioned a photo on Instagram on Wednesday (July 12).

Whitters delivered an epic surprise for her social media followers followers when she revealed that her new song, “I’m In Love,” is making its debut, and there’s “more coming July 28.” Whitters sings on the upbeat country anthem: “Beer’s in the bucket, suds in the sink/ Chicken’s in the skillet, ice in the drink/ Head’s in the clouds, diamond’s in the rough/ He’s in a Chevy and I’m in love

“Talking ‘bout ooh ooh/ I’m out of my mind/ Two bottles into a bottle of wine/ Man’s in the moon/ And a deer’s in rut/ Wind in the chimes/ Stars in a line/ He’s in the drive/ And I’m in love”

Whitters newest song comes at the heels of her latest full-length album, Raised, a 17-track project that released last year. Among other highlights, Raised includes the smash-hit single “Everything She Ain’t,” a song that has soared at country radio and that Whitters calls the “little single that could.”

“It’s been really crazy for me to see just the whole life of that song because it was one that I just didn’t even think was gonna be on the record, and then here we are. …the whole thing has kind of totally surprised me,” Whitters recently told iHeartCountry. Now, Whitters is the reigning Academy of Country Music New Female Artist of the Year and performed on the “biggest stage I’ve ever played” during the annual four-day CMA Fest, at Nissan Stadium in Downtown Nashville, Tennessee, among other recent career milestones.
