“It was an honor to be part of Country vs. Cancer this year,” HARDY said in a statement. “Music brings people together, and we united for a great cause on Dec. 2. I’m so thankful I was able to be part of this event and help raise money for people who are battling cancer.” He added in a post on Instagram: “what a dang night. Thank you to everyone who came out for Country Vs. Cancer… That’s a wrap on the year for me and the band but what a way to go out!”

The American Cancer Society’s CEO, Shane Jacobson, said “Nashville and the country music community showed up in an incredible way for cancer patients and their families on Giving Tuesday. Country vs. Cancer is a reminder that when we stand together, cancer doesn’t stand a chance. We are deeply grateful to these artists and this community for helping us ensure that every life impacted by cancer has hope.”
