Megan Moroney unveiled a sneak peek of the nest track to release from her highly-anticipated new studio album, Cloud 9.
Moroney, 28, will release âWish I Didnâtâ on Friday (January 17). She teamed up with songwriters Emily Weisband, Hillary Lindsey and Luke Laird to write the soon-to-debut anthem, which was produced by Kristian Bush. âWish I Didnâtâ is the first Cloud 9 track to release since Moroney announced the recordâs release date. It follows â6 Months Later,â which quickly became a crowd sing-along anthem over the summer, and âBeautiful Things,â a heartfelt ballad the Georgia-born singer-songwriter penned for her niece. Commenters said theyâre âscreamingâ and âcanât waitâ for the song to arrive on Friday. Fellow artists, including Kylie Morgan and Tigirlily Gold, also reacted to Moroneyâs announcement. Sister duo Tigirlily Gold said theyâre âALREADY OBSESSEDâ with the unreleased song.

Moroneyâs Cloud 9 will make its long-awaited arrival on Friday, February 20. This spring, the award-winning artist will kick off her headlining arena tour. Moroney added performance dates âdue to overwhelming demandâ at âtop-tier arenas across the U.S.â See the full list of tour stops below.
âI am so excited for my fans and I to dive into this new world of Cloud 9 together,â Moroney said when she announced album details. âSimilar to the first two albums, itâs all written about honest, personal experiences, but these songs were written by the strongest, most confident version of myself Iâve ever been. My feet feel firmly planted in my artistry and it was fun to play around sonically, while still sticking to my roots of what my fans and I love. Cloud 9 is a state of mind, and I have no doubt this will be the best chapter yet.â
