AUBURN, Ala.- Downtown streets will close for the Downtown Merchants Association's Auburn Christmas Parade at noon on Sunday, Dec. 5. Cars parked along the route will be allowed to leave until 1:30 p.m. All cars remaining after 1:30 p.m. will be blocked in until the parade is over around 3 p.m.
The parade will begin at the intersection of Thach Avenue and South College Street, travel east on Thach Avenue to Gay Street, north to Tichenor Avenue, west to College Street and south back to Thach Avenue.
Downtown visitors are encouraged to park in the Wright Street Parking Deck and Auburn Bank's Burton Street Parking Deck. Find more information about downtown parking at auburnalabama.org/downtown-parking.
