Opelika now has a dog park owners can take their fluffy friend! The new dog park is located at Floral Park in Opelika. Fencing, signage, waste disposal and more is already set up and ready for dogs! They are currently working on a water source but that should be finished in no time.
The Dog park section in Floral Park is ready right now but the Grand Opening will not be until April 14th. Along with the City of Opelika, local iHeartRadio stations (KickerFM, Mix96.7, Hallelujah910am) will host a ribbon cutting ceremony on April 14th. There will be pet vendors, games for kids, bouncy houses, Lee County Humane Society dogs for adoption, food, and more!
