OPELIKA, Ala. – The Alabama Legislature gave final approval today to a 10-cent-per-gallon gas tax increase, handing a victory to Gov. Kay Ivey.
Mayor Gary Fuller issues statement:
“As Chairman of the Alabama League of Municipalities Legislative Committee, I appreciate the Alabama House and Senate taking care of this in such an efficient manner. Governor Kay Ivey is to be commended for her leadership.
